Sini-Max

From an old "I Am 8-Bit" show, here is Max the lovable rabbity thing depicted as my all time favorite arcade game character, Sinistar. "RUN COWARD! RUN! RUN! RUN!"

i know this image, seriusly is one of my favorites 8D; sinistar, that was and some how is one of the epic games, and Max is a verry worthy tribute; any way, i like a lot the strokes, colores, the fire and all that i will never understand how you do it xD.

NO ONE can withstand the mighty Sini-Max!

Great work, Steve. Too bad 99% of the people who look at that picture have absolutely no clue what sinistar was... Nevertheless, keep them coming. I love oldskool themed games. I really wanted to do a painting relating to Wolfenstein 3D, just haven't had the time yet...

Mister Purcell,
Please : tell me if you ever plan to come in France, I'd love you to sign my "Surfin the Highway" ! Please ! You would be nice to allow me to meet you before we both die ! Just kiddin... but for me it almost sounds more possible than buying a Max stuff toy, which doesn't seem like it will ever be sold anywhere ?
Keep up the good work with your masterpiece.
Cheers !

Hem--
I made it to Paris once. Next time I'll be sure to bring my signing pen. And don't give up on the Max stuffy just yet.

Thanks everybody for comments. It keeps me going when I think someone is actually out there paying attention to what's posted here. I'll keep 'em coming.

Hi Steve,
please do keep the posts coming, I'm a big fan of your work, it's great to see more of it!

Your blog is quite hard to find online btw, I was actually looking for your 'online presence' and didn't find anything, I figured you just didn't post stuff online, but coincidentally a few days later somebody posted a link here.

I had no idea about your Starchie alter ego!

Anyway, now I've found your blog, you can guarantee another regular follower!

Have fun,
David

PS. Congrats on your award nomination!
